Graduate Student Housing Guidelines

Introduction

Graduate student housing, including housing for North Park Theological Seminary students, is available in university-owned housing units and duplexes on a first-come, first-served basis. The university is committed to providing comfortable, convenient housing for students and their families. All housing is located on or within a short walk of campus.

Application and Assignment

Students may apply online after being accepted into a graduate program at 91ÊÓƵ or North Park Theological Seminary. A North Park student ID number is required. Incoming students may request specific units, and assignments are made based on application timing, unit size preference, and availability. Every effort will be made to accommodate requests.

Graduate student housing is managed by the Office of Residence Life and Housing under the Division of Student Engagement. It is primarily for degree-seeking graduate and select undergraduate students who do not qualify for traditional campus housing (e.g., married students, School of Professional Studies students, or those with children). Exceptions require approval from the director of residence life and housing.

To qualify, applicants must be:

  • A full-time, degree-seeking graduate student enrolled in at least 6 credits per semester or 12 credits per year.
  • A full-time, degree-seeking undergraduate student approved by the director of residence life and housing.
